Testimonials

Midwest Dachshund Rescue:

Our rescue received a desperate plea to help 24 dachshunds that were living in a trailer in squalor conditions. As we were preparing for them to come in, I heard about a group of individuals called "Wrapped in Love" that made blankets and belly bands for rescued dogs. These poor dogs had never had a blanket in their life; so  I reached out to WIL to find out more about them and was wonderfully surprised with their immediate response to wanting to help this group! Within in a few days we had handmade blankets for all 24 of our new fosters and they would now have their special blanket loving made for them to take with to their forever home. WIL is an amazing group of individuals dedicated to making the life's  of rescued dogs a little softer!

 Small Paws Retirement VIllage:

All of us here are so grateful for your kindness,  generosity and love. We are most certainly loved here at Small Paws, but now we are also Wrapped in Love with all these beautiful blankets.  WIL usually makes their blankets of love for non-profit rescues that adopt out their dogs.  Small Paws Retirement Village is a sanctuary where the dogs are here to stay.  We are especially honored that WIL took us on to provide fleece toys and blankets for our beds that will stay here as a constant reminder of the love and generosity from people we have never, and will probably never meet.   You and your gifts are a blessing. Thanks WIL you are one awesome organization. God Bless.

Arkansas Paws in Prison

Wrapped in Love (WIL) has been very kind to the Arkansas Paws in Prison program.  When I was approached about receiving free blankets, I had no idea what to expect.

The response from WIL was overwhelming. So many blankets from so many parts of the nation. It is really an honor to have such a  great organization want to help us.

Thanks WIL...all of you are appreciated! Your blankets are "Paw-fect!"

Safehaven Small Breed Rescue

Our rescue deals primarily with mill dogs that have lived in small wire cages their entire lives.  When I heard about "Wrapped in Love" from one of our supporters I was so surprised by the amazing people willing to donate their time by making blankets for the rescue dogs.  Our rescues have never  had a soft place to lay their heads, so this group was a blessing for them.  Within a week we had many beautiful blankets for our babies to call their own. Thank you WIL members for making Safehaven Small Breed Rescue one of your beneficiaries.

Caring Hearts for Homeless Pet Owners

When I was contacted by a member from WIL about receiving blankets for our group, I was so excited. Caring Hearts is not your typical group that you make blankets for because we are not only giving blankets to homeless pets but also their owners. Your group went above & beyond for us by not only sending blankets but also things that we could use to pass out to these homeless people like dog coats/sweaters, leashes, collars, handmade scarves (for dogs & humans), clothing, toiletries, and so much more. I even received a Wal-Mart gift card from one member to go purchase whatever was needed. Your group went above & beyond and we can't thank you enough for all the wonderful items we received & the love you have shown our group.

Thank you,

Stokes County Humane Society

I know I'll never forget that first box i opened up... And the next.. And the next... I was in such shock to be honest.... I was touched so deeply that our amazing volunteers would have something so bright and pretty to share with their fosters and their adoptive families.. And for these items to be hand made by a group of loving people who just truly care was icing on the cake. .. I say shock for sadly we get so little support from our own community... But to be clear despite our lack of support on the home front.. The volunteers of this org are bar none... And none of what we accomplish would be were it not for them.. So to get these amazing gifts to help our little charges feel good was touching to the soul for we know it is given with love and respect... I'm so happy that our group is part of the Wil family ... we are blessed more then most and we thank you for helping us be better! Hugs to each and all who care enough to do something... That's truly all it takes to create a movement.. Make a powerful statement.. Is to do something.. And boy you guys do it with class and style! ~Mona Triplett
